After the resounding success of last year's event, the Rattlesnake Run is back this year with three races along the Harlem Valley Rail Trail. The half marathon (11:30 a.m. start), the 10k (12:30 p.m.) and the 5k (1 p.m.) all start and finish in downtown Wassaic. All three races are free to join, so it's the perfect opportunity for the whole family to lace up the sneakers, test their skills and enjoy the region's scenic beauty.

As you cross the finish line, there will be a DJ spinning tunes to keep the festivities hopping! You'll enjoy free treats for all runners courtesy of Vitsky's Bakery, family activities hosted by the Wassaic Project on the front porch of the Maxon Mills art gallery, and kids chess hosted by Calsi's. Plus, enjoy delicious lunch options at The Lantern, which will be opening early for the occasion.
