Historic Red Hook is kicking off its fifth-annual Cemetery Crawl! This spooky season favorite combines the thrill of a competitive scavenger hunt with a self-guided walking tour of six historic Red Hook cemeteries. Discover fascinating stories from the past as you explore the memorials of some of the community’s most intriguing individuals. All you need is your smartphone, a cozy sweater, and a sense of adventure. It’s the perfect way to embrace autumn while delving into local history.

You can find the Historic Red Hook booth on Hardscrabble Day on Sept. 20 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., in front of Bliss Juice in the Village of Red Hook, where they will officially launch the event. The Crawl will conclude with an award ceremony on Oct. 26 at the Elmendorph Inn at 3 p.m.
