This program presented by the Stanford Historical Society at the Stanford Free Library is based on Anthony Musso's personal interviews with 100 solo artists and founding vocal group members. He will share some of the artists' true stories about their music and careers while dispelling distorted accounts and myths that have been passed down through the years. He will also tell stories of their experiences on early rock and roll bus tours, appearances on TV's American Bandstand and the Ed Sullivan Show, along with many of the deceitful actions taken against the young and naive performers.
