Classical American Homes Preservation Trust invites you to tour Edgewater, the majestic 19th century mansion on the banks of the Hudson River. Built in 1824 for Rawlins Lowndes Brown and his wife Margaretta Livingston Brown, the opulent country estate's owners through the years have included famous writer Gore Vidal and prominent businessman Richard Hampton Jenrette.
Edgewater is open to the public every third Saturday, April through October. All guests are required to purchase tickets in advance. Tickets are $20 per person.
