The protected cove marina is located on the East bank of the Hudson River, approximately 60 nautical miles from both New York City and Albany. Heading north, it can be plotted from Red Marker “60” north of the Mid-Hudson Bridge. Set a course of “030 t” for 1.5 NM. Heading south, the marina is located two miles south of Red Marker “62A,” around the bend at Crum Elbow on NOAA Chart #12347. Operates May 15–October 15 daily. The charted location of the marina is: 41 degrees, 44.2 minutes North Latitude by 073 degrees, 56.3 minutes West longitude.
By land, the Hyde Park Marina is located just off Route 9 on the border of the Town of Poughkeepsie and the Village of Hyde Park. It is situated between Marist University to the south and the Culinary Institute of America to the north. The marina is only minutes from the Poughkeepsie Train Station.
